Standards, in the thread

The 24 standards the ASUAS RFP invokes are now Document objects in live Teamcenter, each trace-linked to the QX-250 requirement(s) that cite it — at document level, or drilled down to the specific method or section when a requirement calls one out.

How it works

From “Applicable Documents” to linked objects

Section 2 of the SRD is a flat list. Here each entry is a real object a requirement points at.

Every standard in the RFP's applicable-documents list becomes a Standard Document object in Teamcenter. Where a requirement invokes the whole document (e.g. “in accordance with MIL-STD-461”), the requirement is trace-linked to the standard. Where a requirement calls out a specific method or section (e.g. the environmental requirements cite particular MIL-STD-810H test methods), a child Section object is created and the requirement is linked to that — so the trace lands exactly where the citation points.

Access & provenance. The MIL-STD / MIL-HDBK / FED-STD documents are U.S. Government works (public domain, unlimited distribution) and are archived in the local standards library with an authoritative source link below. STANAG / ASTM / RTCA / SAE items are copyrighted and are cataloged as metadata stubs with their citation — not redistributed.

Requirement linked to a specific MIL-STD-810H section in Teamcenter
Requirement REQ-ENV-001 (operating temperature −10 to +45 °C) and its two trace links: its verification, and 038868 — MIL-STD-810H | Method 501.7 High Temperature; Method 502.7 Low Temperature — the requirement cites specific test methods, so the link lands on that section object, not just the document.
